Everyday Legal Terms


In an effort for us all to seem more smarter... (more smarter.. he he) I will post legal terms and give you tips on how to use them in everyday life.


in custodia legis (in k-stoh-dee-lee-jis). [Latin]

In the custody of the law. Commonly used in Admiralty in reference to attachment.


Everyday use...


While in custodia legis I learned how to make a shank out of a spoon.
